| Look who's pumping with Pump Wear Inc. |
Addison age 4 from Georgia. Addison was diagnosed with diabetes on July 15th 2005. It was the day of her 4th birthday party. This was a huge shock for our family. She has adjusted very well to this change in her life. We started with shots, but quickly needed something else to help level her out. I was really not sure about the insulin pump at first. After a few visits to your web sight and seeing the cute pump paks I quickly changed my mind. Addison started out with the ballet pak. This really made her proud to wear her pump. For Christmas she got 2 new pump paks and she loves both of them. Thanks for helping our adjustment to be an easier one. Addison enjoys ballet, riding bikes and playing with baby dolls!
Chloe is an active basketball, soccer and softball player. Chloe is also very active in Brownie Girl Scouts. Her troop (along with other scouts from our church) were given the”Bishops Parish Award! The award was based upon the many community source projects the troops have completed. Chloe loves to sing and dance and listen to music. She has only been using her pump for about 2 months but so far her numbers have been great and we can’t wait to see her next a1c. Chloe says her favorite thing about her pump is she only has to have one “shot” every three days instead of 15!
Lisa was diagnosed 2 years ago and has been pumping for 1 year. Life is easier for mom and Lisa since pumping. Lisa is 8 years old and loves all of her pump paks. Lisa is waiting patiently for us to develop a horse pump pak, which will be in the making soon!
Lauren is 7 years old and a Harrisburg cowboy cheerleader. She also enjoys gymnastics, playing softball and taking karate. In the summer she loves swimming and spending time at the beach. Lauren has two quarter horses that she loves riding. She is a very active little girl and diabetes doesn't slow her down.
